Importantly, the Cogent Recovery Risk Tool (CRRT) provides insight to the worker’s risk to early recovery via a score which is immediately shared with employers. This aids in best-practise injury management for all.

Cogent’s Risk Tool Suite for Biopsychosocial Screening
Cogent’s Early Intervention approach recognises that recovery isn’t only physical. Each injury is as unique as the individual who has been hurt. Cogent has developed a best practise suite of biopsychosocial tools to support workplaces to manage this component of recovery.
Cogent’s Recovery Risk Tool (CRRT)
Delivered from the very first, initial triage call, the CRRT is the earliest indication of a worker’s risk to optimal recovery available in the market today. Independently validated by Monash University, the CRRT score effectively and efficiently highlights which workers would benefit from focussed, bespoke injury management support.
For more information regarding the Monash research please contact Cogent. For existing customers, please contact your Account Manager to discuss the implementation of these services within your Early Intervention Program.

Day 1:
The CRRT is completed during the initial triage call. It is a comprehensive, complex tool that leverages a range of data inputs obtained during the triage in Cogent’s empathetic approach. This enables a 100% completion rate. The score and colour-coded risk rating is immediately available to organisations via a Dashboard.
Day 2:
Cogent automatically sends the Orebro IQ to the injured worker via SMS and/or email. The results are added into the case within the Dashboard. This allows for monitoring of biopsychosocial risk at an individual level. Deepening insights into the components of biopsychosocial risk that requires support.
Day 3:
A final Orebro IQ survey is sent to the injured worker for the injury management team.
- Connect every worker’s recovery needs with their employer from the very first call
- Provide continuity of early intervention care between Cogent and employers
- To deliver the right care at the right time
- Report immediate, transparent data for operational and case management benefits
- Ultimately, support injured workers to aid optimal recovery
